Subscribing from your phone.
Pick a plan here in your browser, sign in, and it is live in KiwiBudget straight away: on your phone, on your laptop, everywhere you are signed in.
On iPhone and iPad you can also subscribe inside the app, billed by Apple. The Android app does not sell plans, because Google's rules stop it pointing you here, so Android and web users choose a plan on this page. It is the same plan on the same account either way.
KiwiBudget launches on 16 November 2026. Until then accounts are invitation only, so plans cannot be bought yet. Join the waitlist and you will be let in first.
How it works
- Pick your plan. Below. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
- Sign in, or create an account. The same account you use in the app. If you have not made one yet, you can do it on the way through.
- Pay. Card payment through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Plans with a trial do not charge anything for 7 days.
- Open the app. That is it. Your plan is already active - there is nothing to enter, restore or unlock.

Questions people ask
- Can I subscribe in the app?
- On iPhone and iPad, yes: choose a plan in Settings in the app and Apple bills it to your Apple Account. The Android app does not sell plans, so on Android you subscribe here, and the plan works in the app as soon as you sign in. It is the same plan either way.
- I already have a KiwiBudget account. Do I need a new one?
- No. Sign in with the account you already use. Your plan attaches to it, and everything you have already added stays exactly where it is.
- Do I have to install the app first?
- No. KiwiBudget runs in a browser as well, so you can subscribe and start budgeting without installing anything.
- How do I cancel?
- If you subscribed here, in Settings in KiwiBudget, under your plan. It takes two taps and you keep everything you have paid for until the period ends. If you subscribed in the iPhone or iPad app, Apple handles it: open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. We do not ask you to email us.
- What happens to my bank connection if I stop paying?
- The connection is closed and the syncing stops, but your transactions stay. You can keep budgeting manually on the free plan, or export the lot.
