Change or cancel your plan
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel, on the web, iPhone or Android.
If you pay on the web
- Go to Settings, Subscription, and tap "Change plan".
- Pick the plan you want and confirm. A change between paid plans happens straight away: you are credited for the unused part of the old plan, and the difference is added to your next invoice.
- To cancel, choose "Manage billing" in the same window and cancel there, or pick the Free plan.
If you pay through Apple or Google
Apple and Google run these subscriptions, so only you can change or cancel them, in your store account. KiwiBudget cannot do it for you.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then KiwiBudget.
- Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then KiwiBudget.
What happens when you cancel
Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your budget, goals and history stay. Bank sync is a paid feature, so the bank connection is switched off when the paid plan ends.
Closing your account
Closing your account in Settings cancels a web subscription for you, so you will not be charged again. An Apple or Google subscription is not cancelled by closing your account and keeps renewing, so cancel it in your store account first.
