The founding offer and KiwiBudget Credit
Claiming your founding place, and how backer credit comes off your bills.
The founding offer
The first 200 people on the waitlist each hold a founding place, and all 200 have been taken. Each place comes with a choice: 6 months of free bank sync, or Pro at $5 a month for your first year. It is one or the other, and once you have chosen it cannot be swapped.
From launch on 16 November 2026, sign in on the web at app.kiwibudget.nz and the founding card in Settings offers both. You have until 16 December 2026 to choose.
If the card does not show
Your place is matched to the confirmed email address on your account. If you joined the waitlist by text, add that same mobile number under Settings, Account, Phone, and the card appears. If you joined with a different email address, or you already pay for a plan on the web, email support@kiwibudget.nz and we will sort it out.
KiwiBudget Credit
Credit from backing KiwiBudget can be used from 16 November 2026. It is applied when you start or change a plan in Settings on the web, then comes off each bill until it is used up. It cannot be used on Apple or Google subscriptions. Already paying on the web? Email support@kiwibudget.nz and we will apply it. Credit is prepaid service, not cash, and is not paid out.
