Passwords, reset links and email codes
Reset your password, and what to do when an email link will not open.
Resetting your password
- On the sign-in screen choose "Forgot password?" and enter your email.
- Click the link in the email, or type the 6 digit code from the email into the app - both work.
- Choose a new password.
When a link will not open
Corporate mail scanners and cross-device situations sometimes kill email links. Every KiwiBudget email (confirmation, reset, sign-in) includes a 6 digit code as a fallback - type it into the app instead.
Codes are single-use and the newest email wins: if you request a resend, older codes stop working.
