Groceries
Supermarket spending (Woolworths, Pak’nSave, New World and friends) is categorised automatically. The Grocery List tool can also build a budget-friendly list for your region - supermarket prices genuinely differ between Auckland and Invercargill, so tell it where you shop.
Subscriptions
Netflix, Spotify, gym, software - recurring charges are categorised as subscriptions so you can see the monthly total in Analytics. Seeing "$63/month on subscriptions" in one line is usually the fastest saving in the whole app.
Fixing a category
- Open Transactions and tap the transaction.
- Choose the right category - the app remembers merchant corrections for next time.
- Or tap "Auto-categorise" to let the AI sort any uncategorised transactions in one go.
