Understanding your weekly number

See exactly what your weekly number is and how we calculate it.

The big green number on your dashboard is what you can still spend before your next payday. One number, honest, based on your real money.

How it is calculated

If you told us your payday during onboarding, the app runs on your actual pay cycle: money received since your last payday (or your usual take-home pay), minus what you have spent this cycle. The card counts down the days until you are paid again.

If you set a budget, your budget limit is used instead - someone who set a limit meant it.

Transfers between your own accounts are never counted as spending or income, so moving $50 to savings does not dent your number.

Why it sometimes reads low

Early in a pay cycle, before pay lands, the observed income can be small - that is the honest reading, and it corrects itself on payday. If the number looks wrong, check your pay details in Settings.
